Parts/Info Links for Guns N Roses

These suppliers are those I've found for SPECIFIC GnR parts. Visit the links page for general parts (ie bulbs, balls, cleaners etc)

Note that Stern Pinball stocks a number of generic DE parts. Check with your favorite distributor for availability.

Rubber Rings:

You can find a list of all rubber rings in Guns N Roses here. I recommend buying a complete set from the usual suspects, but if you desire single rings, or have some other reason, click the link.

Manual:

Everyone should own a legitimate, printed copy of their games manual. The games all came with a manual, and I think it's BS when you buy a game and it doesn't have a manual. Having said this, there are electronic sources for manuals, preferably to be used only while you wait on your printed manual to come from the usual suspects. Give them the business when you need a manual, it's only because of them that a lot of pinball parts are still available.

To read the electronic "manuals", you'll need Adobe Acrobat Reader. Download it by clicking on the icon below:

The best sources for PDF manuals include:

Mike Purcell's Manual FTP Site

The Internet Pinball Database

Stormaster Manual Download

PopBumper.com

Plastics:

I don't know of any places stocking Guns N Roses plastics set at the moment.

You should always try to buy original plastics, either NOS or good used. When you can't find them, you need to make your own.

I recommend getting scans from ballsofsteel.net, and creating reproduction plastics using Roc Agrawal's method. While you're there, get some of his plastic fender washers to protect those valuable plastics.

Data East PDF's

The following PDF's address several problems with GnR Related to the ball launch. The original shooter habitrail was too steep, and this caused the balls to get hung up during multiball. DE released a new set of habitrails that were chrome instead of black coated. These sold for a premium when available, and are probably very hard, if not impossible, to find.

You will need Adobe Acrobat. Download it here

Decal Sets:

Mayfair Amusement

I bought a NOS Decal set from Mayfair for $50.00. They seem to be the last people on the earth with NOS DE Decal sets. $50.00 US. I have scans of the decals - they are fairly large. If you need them, let me know and maybe I can burn you a CD or something.

Data East Hardware etc:

For Amusement Only

FAO has blank drop targets, and can get a lot of individual pieces. I bought a ball launch bracket and drop target return springs from FAO as well. Their prices are reasonable. I also purchased a NOS manual for my GnR through FAO.

Note: I have 6 NOS White DE Drop Targets and return springs. Make me an offer if interested.

Repro Drop Target Decals:

These are rumored to be better than NOS. I've never tried them, but have been told they are. No website link, just e-mail: bcrico@cfl.rr.com

Anything Else:

Check the Mr Pinball Parts For Sale Database, and if no luck, make a post to the Mr. Pinball Parts Wanted List and the rec.games.pinball newsgroup. If you've got deep pockets, check out eBay.
